Day 94 - Purple Allium, a bug's point of view

Radial blur filter applied
Purple allium grow from bulbs planted in the fall and bloom, now, late spring.

They are symbolic of good fortune and prosperity. Like onions and garlic, allium was thought to ward off the evil eyes or spirits. In the story of "The Odyssey", the spell of turning Ulysses into a pig is warded off by an allium.
