Day 43 - Cosmos

Some flowers to brighten up the office serve double duty as pens. I've always wanted to try this. Now another batch for the desk next to me and one for home should do it.

Cosmos grow carefree from seed, these annuals (meaning they grow just one year) fill a flowerbed with color and are great cut flowers. They grow from 1 foot to 3 feet high, depending on the variety and prefer soil that has little nutrients.

  1. Very interesting. Do you mean you can write with the ends of those flowers? Are they real flowers? Are they real pens? Will they wilt if you don't water them? Do you put water in the vase? What color is the ink? Do you really write with them at work? Or are they just an interesting conversation piece? Am I asking too many questions?
